Mom in hospital, WHAT TO DO?

she does not speak to me or my sister.
she is told by the people who publishes the books and magazines that she sells (jehovahs witnesses) that she cannot speak to us or eat a meal with us.

She is told by the people who publishes the books and magazines that she sells (Jehovah’s Witnesses) that she cannot speak to us or eat a meal with us. What is the hospital etiquette / rules. Can we visit the hospital room, not speak, and just stare at each other? Or is that against the rules also? Any elders have their flock book handy that can advise?

i think it is time for a NC coastal APOSTAFEST!!
by oompa ini have a small cottage...sleeps six to sixteen depending on how friendly we are...it is one mile from the water at holden beach which is halfway between myrtle beach sc and wilmington nc.....and both are great places as is the beach at holden.....it is a half acre of grass and 12 of beautiful woods....so so some trailers and many campers are welcome.........the beach is awesome as there are no hotels on the entire island....sept is the best month...............anyone interested?....it is very private and i love the bonfire pit.....i have pics on photobuckt but trust me it is awesome......love you guys and let me know.................oompa.

Quality of Talks Deteriorating?
by ruruj inyears ago i know talks to be accurate, authoritative, corroborative and encouraging.. however, now that watchtower has change (including new light) tactics applied so extensively, things seem to be worsening instead of getting better.. the 45 minute talk is frequently discouraging and prone to inaccuracy in non-scriptural facts.
i hate to see the few means of jw secular education is done by careless misinformation.
it mostly attacks the world and sometimes reflects the overzealous opinions of the speaker; for example, demonizing entertainment and the internet.

Maybe the talks are of the same material, and you are more enlightened? The longer I stayed in, the more sickening the talks, illustrations, domonstrations, and discussions became. Just sayin'.

!.....hi old friends....it would be sooooo much easier if you work for a company...with normal people around you....but damm if you have your own biz for thirty years with five jw employees out of 15 that pretty much run your company.....well just crap!!
!....anyhwho.....good luck to all moving on....it can be a bitch...but it is worth it....and damm divorce is a bitch...and so is settlement...and so is fukkin alimony!!!!!!

Question on Case of Disfellowshipped then Committed Suicide
by ruruj inthere was an occurrence years ago where a jw wrongdoer was disfellowshipped.
in a matter of days this poor victim committed suicide.. would there be any kind of accountability for the victim's suicide death?.
how frequent do these cases happen?.

Search on youtube, I remember seeing one where a 16 year old in England? was DF'ed for homosexuality and he killed himself. The family told their story and gave their names and everything.

Studying my faith away

Undercover nailed it in his 2nd post. If I were you I would talk to your friends that got out, ask them what they did, what would they change, consider if their situation is different than yours with family, wife, ect. And never, never, NEVER put your thoughts or doubts in writing. Most will go straight to the elders, that is what they are programmed to do. Having written proof will get you DF"ed in a minuite.
Plan your course carefully, don't worry about celebrating your 29th birthday in a few months, instead think about celebrating your 30th birthday with your family, new friends, and hopefully some of your old friends that you helped see your new light.

i am sure the twenty years younger and big boobs had nothing whatsoever to do with it and cannot think why he both could think of no other way of leaving and why if it was so bad it was alright to leave his kids in it.
